Yup! they have no option, but thats what baffles me, with so much brain and bucks backing them, they couldn't figure out an alternative business model. or what exactly was their plan, a charity foundation, or if its that they never wanted to find another alternative. Anthropic seems to have one and likely are on the right track. it'll be interesting to see how much they actually earn. but having said that, between google gemini and chatgpt ad mix with AI, users are very royally screwed.
